With their own factory in the UK, Peregrine has a high level of control and complete visibility over its operations. To help them raise the bar even higher on its responsible manufacturing credentials we initiated the creation of a British regenerative wool supply chain from scratch, enabling them to become one of (if not the first) knitwear brands to invest in British domestically grown regeneratively farmed wool.
Working right through to farmer-level we identified and brokered partnerships with a range of NGOs to deliver a phased 5 year transition journey.

Outcomes
Having mapped the supply chain we found an affordable methodology for working with farmers alongside Pasture For Life and Soil Mentor. The brand manifesto we wrote to explain the project was supported by the fibre lead at global organisation, Textile Exchange. Peregrine is now positioned as one of the first brands to develop a natural fibre regenerative British supply chain, structured as an active 5 year plan with ‘news moments’ year on year as the story develops. The announcement has been covered to date in titles such as; Evening Standard; Vogue Business; Country & Townhouse, Edie, Drapers, The Industry and Business Green.
